Hello from Filbert Street,

Ciao Alumni! Welcome to the first quarterly alumni newsletter. Thank you for helping us rekindle our alumni network! We’ve heard from a lot of you and our database seems to grow each day. Please continue to spread the word and encourage people to update their information on our site. We’re new to this newsletter thing, so we thought we’d start with a nice little mix — a bit of news from the school, a few updates from you, some fun pictures (ahh nostalgia), and an invitation to reconnect in person! School Updates

660 Filbert Street is always bustling with activity and our students are excelling in all of their academic activities. We have a thriving Science and STEM program and now offer coding and robotics courses. This year, 15 middle school students from 6th to 8th grades were chosen to compete in the prestigious regional science fair competition held at the Randall Museum. Winners will move directly on to the California Science and Engineering Fair.

For the third year, our school children’s choir partnered with Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory’s chamber choir for a beautiful Advent celebration: Lessons and Carols. This event is open to all and we hope you can join us next year.

JOSEPHINE LUCCHESI 1966 | After a 15-year career in banking, she returned to college, obtaining her teaching credential. She then taught first grade at West Portal Lutheran School and is now retired.

ANGELO ROMANINI 1968 | Angelo has been married for 47 years to another Saints Peter and Paul grad and has raised two beautiful daughters. He is enjoying life with his two beautiful granddaughters.

MICHELLE TAPIA 1972 | Michelle is a licensed clinical social worker currently working at the SFVA hospital.

OSCAR LEE 1985 | Oscar has been working in the tourism community since 1988. He now works at San Francisco Travel helping to promote our beautiful city.

PHILLIP LEE 2006 | Graduated from UC Irvine in 2010 and works in the technology security space. He now lives in Sacramento with his wife and baby, and they are enjoying watching him grow.

ALEXIS ORDONA 2007 | After attending SHCP and graduating from UCLA with an English Major and Global Studies Minor, she currently works as a Sr. Technology Account Manager for Pendo. Alexis recently got married and currently lives in San Mateo.

FRANCESCA DEAN 2018 | Moved to Sacramento shortly after graduating from SSPP. She currently attends the University of the Pacific as a pre-dental major and hopes to attend UOP Duogoni’s Dental School in San Francisco.

Join us!

We’re hosting our Spring Gala on March 29 and encourage you to attend! This year’s theme is ‘The Greatest Show,’ an evening of circus whimsy, tasty bites, a live auction, dancing, and FUN! Bring your friends and family (non-alumni can attend too). We even have a discount for young alumni (ages 21-29).
